Chris Osterlitz, DC
In 1990 Chris received his bachelors of science of human biology from Plattsburgh State University in Plattsburgh, New York. In 1994 he completed his license for massage therapy. In 1995 he received his doctorate in Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic college in Portland, Oregon.
Through the years Chris has has developed a multifaceted approach to evaluating and treating patients. His techniques include : Cox Spinal Decompression, Drop table and manual chiropractic for spine and extremities, Graston Instrument, Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Rehabilative exercise programs.
Chris blends these Chiropractic and soft tissue therapies as each patient requires or requests. He incorporates many of the above techniques with most patients as the treatment plans progress. Clear comminication and respect for the patients needs and requests are of great importance. Chiropractic adjustments Are performed with full awareness of the patient and gentle adjustments are utilized as a first option.
Chris is a member of the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Washington State Chiropractic Association and Oregon Chiropractic Association.
Jordan Powell, DC, CCSP
Dr. Jordan Powell graduated from Life University in Marietta, GA, with his doctoral degree in Chiropractic Medicine. Prior to his training to become a chiropractic physician, Dr. Jordan was a highly recruited athlete and student receiving multiple athletic and academic offers to schools such as Baylor, Louisiana Tech, LSU, Yale, University of Louisiana-Monroe, and Air Force. Dr. Jordan decided to attend the historic Grambling State University where he served as a member of the G-Men Tigers football team and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He then went on to graduate as a STEM major with Cum Laude Honors in Biology/Pre-Med. During his time in undergrad, he also served as an intern for three summers at Meharry Medical College. During that time, he was able to shadow physicians in many realms of health care including Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Anesthesiology, among others. Immediately following his undergrad, he spent time serving his home community of Shreveport, Louisiana, as a mental health specialist. It was there experiences that led him to pursue a purpose geared towards helping patients achieve optimal health and live their best lives.
During his time in Chiropractic school, Dr. Jordan utilized his time outside of the classroom by working in multiple clinics as a student intern/chiropractic assistant. Dr. Jordan graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors and was a Wendy & Jay P. scholarship recipient. Since moving to he PNW, Dr. Jordan has become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician which has allowed him to work closely with many athletes in the Eugene-Portland area providing sport-specific treatment with a focus on biomechanics, injury prevention, recovery, and optimizing performance. Dr. Jordan is currently on track to become a Diplomate of American Chiropractic Board Sports Physicians, a distinction only held by 400 chiropractic physicians world-wide. Dr. Jordan is also the Co-offensive coordinator, Wide receiver coach, and Team Physician for the I-5 Cobras Semi-professional Football team in Salem, Oregon.
When he is not in the clinic or working with athletes within the community, Dr. Jordan likes to use his time with his significant other taking road trips, hiking, playing video games, and avoiding going crazy from keeping up with his two labradors Jax and Tank.
